Overview

"What's in Your Dog's Food", the first publication in the Ramses Series, will empower you to recognize, identify, and eliminate from your dog's diet the most harmful ingredients, that you never knew they consume every day.

Discover why your dog may be suffering from skin or digestive issues, obesity, behavioral problems, and most importantly Cancer, Heart, kidney or liver disease.

Fact: Almost 50% of dogs over the age of six develop cancer and approximately forty-six percent of all dogs are dying of cancer

Fact: Heart, kidney, and liver disease are also at record epidemic levels

Fact: Forty percent of all dogs are obese.

The rates for all these major medical problems keep rising and the major influence and contributing factor affecting a dog's risk of developing these and other potentially fatal medical issues is their diet, the one and most critical aspects under your control.

'What's in Your Dog's Food" addresses understanding your dog's nutritional needs, the various dog food options available, and other major hidden considerations. We explore the dog food marketplace by highlighting:

• What does dog food contain - nutrient classifications and additives?
• Your dog's respective daily nutritional needs
• The various currently available forms of dog food, highlighting their "Pros" and "Cons."
• Highlight the existing various Government, State and International dog food manufacturing standards, regulations and labeling of dog food, encompassing the leading dog food manufacturers worldwide.
• The deceptive tactics and ploys dog food manufacturers are using to mislead consumers, including packaging terms.
• The Way Forward, with recommended 'Steps to Take', "Options", the types of food we recommend, and how to minimize the ongoing cost.

To complement these major considerations, we explore how they need to be interpreted within the wider global pet food industry and how that may apply to your choices if you come into contact with pet food imported from the major pet food manufacturers worldwide.

As we navigate each subject, we provide positive factual information of importance to help add clarity termed as 'Ramses Guidance:' as well as negative aspects - "telling it like it is" titled: 'The Reality'. They both add clarity to the picture that manufacturers and authorities want you to see and believe.

This will position you to make good, informed decisions as to what is best to fill your dog's bowl, resolve any health issues, and ensure their long-term health and wellbeing, cost effectively.

A healthy dog is a happy dog, ready to share with you many wonderful years together, thanks to your understanding of identifying and providing the optimum diet they need.
