About the Author: Nicole was born in Canton Georgia and raised all over the east coast of the USA, but spent most of her childhood in Virginia. As an adult, she traveled a lot in the USA and finally settled down with her husband and 4 children in a quiet town in Missouri. Nicole’s children inspired her to write the book ‘The Quilt of the Earth’. Nicole often reads to her children and some of their favorite books were those that brought them close to their Native American culture.

About the Illustrator: Ema Tepic is a Bosnia-Herzegovina based freelance illustrator. She loves books, art, and everything in between, and after graduating with a degree in architecture, she went back to her first love - art. She loves creating whimsical characters and beautiful watercolor landscapes.
