Lacey Belle Robertson is a beautiful southern gal from Charleston, South Carolina. When both parents die within a year of each other, she finds herself alone with no real purpose in life. She cared for her parents during their illness, and now she was orphaned. Her life is suddenly changed when she meets the handsome and wealthy attorney, Steve Schmidt. Steve introduces Lacey to a lavish lifestyle, and adorns her with jewels, couture clothing, and fine dining.
