The Protectors was a page-turning straight through read for me. Not a book that would gather dust in my mind. From cover to cover your imagination is taken on a well laid out action-packed adventure. If you are picking this book up as your first introduction to the series, you’ll love it because you can jump right in and won’t feel like you’re missing out on anything. The author has balanced the right amount of history with the progression of the story. Five full Fangs!

The Protectors, the second in the continueing saga of Royal Blood Chronicles, is a true example of the cintinued strong female lead character of this series. In too many of todays Vampire stories, the females are portrayed as weak characters who need saving, but not in this series. The descriptive writing style of Elizabeth Loraine, combined with the strong story line makes the readeer feel as if they were walking beside Katrina and her sisters in their Vampire World.
