About the Author

As a retired designer I wanted to find to something that provide me a creative way to express myself and inspire me. At an art fair I saw several jewelry makers doing designs in sterling silver artist. There was craftier working at with a design on paper and she allow me to look at the design she was working on and explained how she moved thru the concept to the final finish piece. Then at a party at sister’s house and picked up my first pair of pliers, I was hooked. I got books and there was always something missing. What are these? How do they get there? So, after learning the old trial and error system. I thought there has to be a better way then this. That is way I wrote this book. I will guide you through the basics. You will be taught in a progressive way a step built by step. By the end of this book you will have a good understanding of jewelry making. I want to teach, inspire and share this enriching hobby.
