Shahriar Bakkur is an Arab-American who was born two hours after arriving in America. While a baby, his father was executed by Al-Qaida for helping the United States thwart a terrorist attack in 1986. Fifteen years later, on September 11th, his mother died in one of the towers. Shahriar vowed to rid the world of terrorists one or two at a time. At age eighteen, he Americanized his name to Shawn Baker and joined the military. He became an Army Ranger and after his service, Joined the CIA.
The country faces dangers that because of protocols, the President is limited in what he or she can do. President Warner Hayes, faced with these problems, asks CIA Director Marjorie Holt to find someone to deal with these situations. The Director tags Shawn Baker. Only the President and the Director know of Shawn's existence and what secret missions he performs for the President of the United States. Shawn Baker becomes The President's Man.

About the Author

Charlie has enjoyed writing all through high school and college. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. In 2007, he began writing short stories, more than sixty so far.
