Prayer is never wasted but invested. Being a form of communication between humanity and divinity, it helps us build a close relationship with God. In the dispensation in which the livelihood of the world has been shifted by the pandemic, we need to draw closer to our creator so we can stand in this season of reset.

This book breaks down the concept of prayer and shows how a believer can walk in it. It’s not that people don’t want to pray, but it’s that knowing how to cultivate the habit of praying is a problem. Once you speak to Elohim, you need to be in the waiting moment for Him to speak back to you. Let us be addicted to prayer for it’s a weapon of a believer. There’s no holiday when it comes to praying. Don’t wait for the storms of life to come your way before you make time to pray. Let it be a practice, let pray be YOU. A prayerful man is a powerful man.

About the Author

There is nothing greater than having peace of mind, in knowing that God aligns people within their purpose to serve others with a selfless and grateful heart. Stephen accepted his call into ministry five years ago and currently serves under the able leadership of Dr. Sonnie Badu at The Rockhill Church as a Pastor. Stephen has been an active member and integral part of The Rockhill Church since its establishment, gracefully reflecting God’s divine goodness as he serves.
Born in Winneba, Central Region of Ghana, Stephen accepts and believes his purpose of fulfilling the will of God for his life as well as for the people around him. He acknowledges the times and dispensation that the name of the Lord must be magnified. He is compelled to go out and impact lives through spreading the word of God that those who have fallen into the lassitude of despair might arise to possess the City Gates.
In order to fulfill God’s purpose and to pursue his vision, Stephen committed himself to higher education by attending Trinity University of Ambassadors on scholarship from the school and The Rockhill Church where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry. These classes have given him the opportunity to broaden his understanding of the content and contexts of the Bible. That exposure and other divine revelations birthed his first ever book, The Praying Bank.

The inspiration for this book is based on the understanding that prayer is not wasted and there is no such thing as “taking a break” when it comes to prayer. He believes that just as we try to save money in the bank we also need to invest prayer into our spiritual bank so in times of trouble we are able to make a withdrawal. This he believes is one of his most heartfelt and rewarding achievements.
