The Playboy's Reluctant Bride
Taylor Endicott has a well-deserved reputation as a playboy with a taste for kinky sex who’s bedded a string of beautiful women. He’s exactly the kind of man that nurse Charlotte Grant should stay far away from – but now he’s asked her to marry him!
Endicott Industries has just purchased the property that Charlotte’s low-income clinic is located on – but he’s promised not to tear down the clinic if she’ll stay married to him for 30 days. And it’s quite clear to Charlotte that he’s demanding more than just a marriage on paper.

Will Charlotte make a terrible bargain and submit to Endicott’s demands for one month? And what’s the secret that Taylor’s keeping from her – the secret could break her heart and change her future?
EXCERPT:
The redhead was now making her way to the small alcove where the two men had taken refuge, elbowing her way through the crowd in a determined fashion.
“Look, it’s my destiny coming for me,” Taylor said in an amused drawl.
When she reached the two men the redhead looked Taylor square in the eye…and then she hauled off and struck his right cheek with a resounding slap. “Bastard!” she snapped.

Taylor was quite sure he’d never seen her before in his life.

There was a collective gasp from the crowd. Taylor saw Bethanny staring at him, jaw hanging open.

Taylor sprang forward, grabbed the redhead’s slim right wrist, and quickly hauled her through the crowd, out the ballroom door, down the hall, and into the family library, where he slammed the door shut behind them.

“Well, that was the most interesting thing that happened to me all evening,” Taylor said, towering over her. “Now who the hell are you?”

“Charlotte Grant, not that it matters. I’m a nurse. I work at the Harbor Clinic.”
“Where? Is that supposed to mean something to me?”

Charlotte gasped indignantly. Her blue eyes filled with tears, and her hand flew up as if to slap him again.

This time he caught her wrist in his hand, and brought his arm down, pinning her arm behind her back with ease.
He reached down, running his free hand along her cheek and tucking a stray strand of fiery red hair behind her ear. Despite herself, she gasped, feeling a shudder of desire run the length of her entire body.

“I do like to play rough, sweetheart, but getting slapped in the face isn’t my particular fetish,” he said mockingly. “I’m always the top, and the only slapping that’s going to happen is my hand on that nice round rear end of yours. In fact, next time you try to slap me, you’ll find out how hard I can spank.”

He was easily six foot four, broad shouldered, with thick, tousled locks of blond hair and green eyes that pierced right through her. He was staring down at her with a smoldering intensity that made her heart pound faster and, she was ashamed to admit, made her panties damp.

No woman could resist that hot, possessive gaze, she thought.

Then she stood up straight, threw her shoulders back, and thought, no woman but ME.

Charlotte glared up at him, forcing herself to remember how much she hated this selfish bastard and how many lives he was ruining without a second thought.
