About the Author

Howard Tullman is the former Chairman of Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy. He is the General Managing Partner of two Chicago-based venture firms, Chicago High-Tech Investment Partners and G2T3V, LLC. He serves as a member of Mayor Emanuel's ChicagoNEXT and Cultural Advisory Councils; Governor Quinn's Illinois Innovation and Illinois Arts Councils; and Cook County President Preckwinkle's New Media Council and teaches regularly at the Kellogg Graduate Business School at Northwestern University. He is a Board member of Hightower Advisors, Imerman Angels, The Starter League, Built in Chicago, Ebert Digital LLC and SnapSheet and serves on several other boards and civic organizations. Over the last 45 years, he has successfully founded more than a dozen high-tech companies as well as several colleges and created more than $1 billion in investor value as well as thousands of jobs.
