Patricia Iyer MSN RN LNCC is a legal nurse consultant who has been helping attorneys since 1987. She is a nationally known expert in the field of legal nurse consulting. She served on the board of directors for the American Association of Legal Nurse Consulting, including one year as president.
She has written or coauthored more than 130 books, chapters, case studies, online courses or articles. One of her best known works is Legal Nurse Consulting, Principles and Practices, Second Edition, which she edited. She was a coeditor of Nursing Malpractice, Fourth Edition, published in 2011. Patricia Iyer also coedited Medical Legal Aspects of Medical Records, Second Edition, published in 2010.
Along with Alice Adams, Patricia edited Path to Legal Nurse Consulting: The Collective Wisdom of Successful Legal Nurse Consultants, published in 2012.

ALICE ADAMS RN BBA is the owner of Medical Case Consultants, LLC. She has been a legal nurse consultant in private practice for 7 years after managing a forensic psychological practice for greater than 20 years and working in the ICU for six years. She is a contributing author to three books and one textbook, the AALNC's Growing Your Practice: Resources, Tools & Reports. She is past president of AALNC's Atlanta chapter and presents on the topics of workers compensation case analysis, as well as social media in the healthcare field.
