Overview

Twenty-seven-year-old Amelia Levingston never imagined finding friendship while battling cancer. But in the infusion suite, she meets Henry "Kinsey" Bonneville, an ornery British Marquess with a biting wit to match his disagreeable nature. Kinsey lost his family long before his cancer diagnosis. Still, he finds himself drawn to Amelia's vibrant spirit, despite his best efforts. Their unlikely bond forms over a shared love of literature and outcast status from Kinsey's aristocratic family. When Kinsey loses his fight with cancer, his last act leaves Amelia questioning how well she knew him at all. He gifts her his decaying ancestral estate in England, along with the funds to restore it. Thrust into a world of secrets, resentful in-laws, and old grudges, Amelia fights to revive the crumbling Park House while unravelling Kinsey's past and seeking her own fresh start. She didn't expect a second chance in life, nor expect to find love, but Arthur, Kinsey's younger brother, could perhaps be everything she had ever dreamed of... and more
