About the Author

Kip Vieth is a writer and fly-fishing guide, winner of the 2017 Orvis Guide of the Year award. Based in Minnesota, he has fished most of the rivers and lakes in that state as well as in neighboring states such as Wisconsin. He has also fished in the south, in such states as Tennessee and Virginia. Hew lives in Monticello, Minnesota. Tom Rosenbauer has been a fly fisher for four decades, and was tying flies commercially at age fourteen. He is the author of numerous books, as well as countless articles for American Angler, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, and other periodicals. He is a marketing manager with the Orvis Company in Manchester, Vermont, and lives in nearby Pawlet, Vermont.
