About the Author

John Finan was born in Charlestown Co. Mayo in 1953. His father was from Sligo and his mother was from Roscommon. John runs a family business, pub and shop, in Charlestown. He is married with one son, Joseph. His interests are writing, Irish music and Gaelic Football. His first book, A little bit of Ireland, is a list of short stories, fictional but the information was got from the local area where he lives. He received a diploma in creative writing from Kilroys's College, Dublin in 2003.
