About the Author
The author served in the Peace Corps as legal advisor to the Somali National Police Force from 1966-1968. He returned to Somalia as an advisor to the State Department in 1993, and is currently a Board Member of the Somali American Community Association. He is also active in interfaith groups, including the Darfur Interfaith Network.
