The Opposite Side Of The Road

" I fell in love. It was as simple as that. Even though I was just a child. Even though the decision was hard to make. What the skeleton, in front of me, said needed no second to think about. I boldly stepped into the middle of the road, as a flash of pink took my life. I had no doubts in my heart as I died. I was willing to die for love." A flash fiction about parallel worlds and death.

About the Author

Hi, I'm Nobo13, I hope you enjoy reading some of my work. The pen name Nobo13 comes from my surname. It reads like the Japanese for climb 'noboru' but it has an extra bit that resembles the number 13- hence we have Nobo13. Additionally, the part that is 'noboru' is read as 'to publish' in Chinese, so it made sense for me to use it as a self-published author. Other than writing or doodling away, I've found myself strumming away at ukuleles- I highly recommend getting an uke. It's something that brings a smile to a face quite easily, and is itself very pleasing. Please check out my website, it has a lot of features and fun.
