Ernest Hemingway, born in 1898, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954. In this novel, we are faced with an old man who goes out with his boat and goes into the sea in order to fish and manages to catch a large fish. He begins his journey back to the shore while he is looking forward to it, because his journey has paid off, but not everything that a person hopes for is achieved, as soon the savage sharks emerge from their sea shelters to destroy him. On the fish that the old man tied to his small boat, and despite all of the old man's desperate attempts to save his fish, his efforts were in vain and the sharks succeeded in devouring the fish, leaving nothing but its skull and vertebral chain left.
