Crossing the line from line art to pop art,
The Bob's Burgers Adult Coloring Book follows in the best-selling pop culture coloring book footsteps as
Star Wars,
Game of Thrones, and
Doctor Who,
The Walking Dead, and
Outlander. The first and only coloring book based on Fox's Emmy-winning animated hit, this collection serves up not only images of the best moments of the show, but enough puns and fun to have the show's ravenous fans salivating with hunger and hilarity.
Recently renewed for its seventh season, the Emmy Winning Best Animated Series (2014) is a bona fide critically acclaimed hit, placing in numerous Top Ten lists of funniest sitcoms and best animated series on television. Bob's Burgers airs Sundays on Fox, with syndicated repeats running on various networks throughout the week. The series is available to purchase on stream on iTunes, Netflix, and Amazon.
Bob's Burgers is enjoying a true pop cultural moment, with an original comic book version by Dynamite Entertainment still setting records since its launch in 2014, a soundtrack album of original music from the series featuring music from indie band Sleater-Kinney (featuring Portlandia's Carrie Brownstein), and now an ongoing, multi-city live tour that presents the cast and crew recreating some of the most popular episodes in front of packed houses across the country.
Inspired by Cole Bowden's tumblr blog The Bob's Burger Experiment, Universe published The Bob's Burgers Burger Book, which reprinted four times before publication. The cookbook's announcement became a lead story in an NPR interview with Bouchard and was picked up by Vulture, Entertainment Weekly, Eater, the AV Club, and was mentioned on-air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block, now airing past episodes of Bob's Burgers.
Series creator and writer-producer Loren Bouchard is personally overseeing the artwork for the coloring book, which guarantees that it will perfectly encapsulate the unique combination of laugh-out-loud humor, subtle warmth, and outlandish visual and wordplay of the show.
