About the Author

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo. I attended Central High School and enrolled in MCCKC Community College, studying Criminology in 2014. I have plans to further my education in the Spring of 2024.
As far back as I remember, I’ve always been quiet and more of an introvert. I considered myself different yet creative. Although I didn’t know how to blend in with the others, I managed to find my way. I never had much of a childhood; I lived a sheltered life, but I am grateful for my experiences because they made me who I am. I was born a Jehovah’s Witness, and as I got to my teen years, I went into Christianity. I have a book that I will release one day that tells my story named “A Brave Girl.” This book talks about my life challenges. I had my first child at an early age, but I am proud of the mother I became and the healthy decisions I made with no guidance growing up into womanhood.
I’ve always had a passion for drawing, writing, music, and basketball, but my opportunities were limited until I got older when I had more stretch to see the world and explore who I was. I self-published my first Poetry Book in 2012 called “Love, Life, Reality,” and a year later, I wrote my first gospel song in 2013 named “You Are My Everything” and published it on all platforms in 2015. In 2019, I started my own small floor cleaning business, LLC, incorporated as an individual, an accomplishment I’m proud of. In my spare time, I continued to write poems, songs, or quotes because writing is an outlet that makes me feel at peace.
