About the Author

Sandy began her children's book career over 50 years ago as a student of Maurice Sendak at Yale. Once introduced, the picture book genre captivated her imagination with its unique blend of story and illustration. Although she is an international literary agent and professional editorial consultant, her passion for creating her own books remains. She is both an author and illustrator. A Colorado native, she lives in Vail, CO and often visits her cottage on Lake St. George in Liberty, Maine. She loves shopping at local thrift stores wherever she goes. Jan Dolby is an internationally published illustrator and character designer from Ontario, Canada. She has a Fine Arts Degree from University of Guelph and has illustrated over 20 picture books. Her studio, The Pink Suitcase, hosts her signature business. She lives in Aurora, Ontario with her husband and two children. She is a painter, treasure hunter, hockey fan and tiny house lover.
