About the Author

Destiny Price, M.S.A.
Meet Destiny Price the Founder and Head Transition Coach of Transition to W.I.N., LLC and a proud Arlington, Texas, native. During her time in the sports industry, Price has listened to how athletes were being talked about, watched how they were being used and then tossed to the side after their playing days ended. So after identifying this as a problem for current and former athletes, she decided to become the solution. In 2016, Price created the vision for a transition firm focused on helping athletes answer the question What Is Next (W.I.N.). After the vision was solidified she dedicated the following years to growth, strategy, perfecting her craft and building a team. In addition to leading her own firm, she has conducted over 3,000 career coaching appointments as the Assistant Director of Career Management and a Career Specialist at two leading universities. Price also lectures business courses on professional development, decision making, corporate sports sponsorship and talent management in sports and entertainment. She serves on the executive board for the National Black Sports Professionals North Texas Chapter (BSPNTX) and has overseen staff as a coordinator for seven consecutive Super Bowls. Destiny's approach to transition coaching is to challenge and support.

Meet Jada Pollard, a Transition Coach and Account Senior Service Executive for the World Champion Milwaukee Bucks. She is actively working to bring more diversity into the sports industry while also making time to mentor and help others along the way. She currently assists with the Future Leaders Program, developing every incoming sales representative within the Bucks organization. Outside of the arena Pollard assists athletes with navigating life after sports. Jada's approach to transition coaching is listen and guide.

Kayla Hunter, M.B.A, M.S.A.
Meet Kayla Hunter, a Transition Coach and the first black female General Manager of the Southern Ohio Copperheads Baseball Team. Additionally, she has been in the banking industry for over three years, gaining knowledge on mortgage, auto-loans, and cash management. Taking a 360° approach, Hunter combines her sport, career management, and banking experience to aid others along their personal development journey. She is passionate about helping others reach their maximum potential. Kayla's approach to transition coaching is to observe and empower.
