CHAPTER 1

Hannah asked her mommy, "When does a mother's love begin? When does it end?"

Well Hannah ... When I was around 10, I used to pretend I was a bride. I loved you then.

I loved you when I cared for my baby dolls as if they were real babies. I was such a little lady. I fed my dolls. I burped my dolls. I even changed their stinky diapers! I wanted to be the best mommy, so I practiced daily. I even gave them names like Hailey.

I loved you when I enrolled in college. One needs to get lots of knowledge.

I loved you when I met a handsome man and patiently waited for him to take my hand.

I loved you when your father and I worked and saved. Those were the hardest days.

I loved you when we bought our dream house. We wanted to ensure you had tons of room to play and bloom.
