About the Author

Krishan Chopra, M.D. (1919-2001) was a prominent Indian cardiologist. He was head of the department of medicine and cardiology at the prestigious Mool Chand Khairati Ram Hospital, New Delhi, for more than 26 years. Prior to that, he was professor of medicine and chief of cardiology at A.F. Medical College, Pune. He was chairman of the Heart Care Foundation of India, a national charitable trust engaged in continuing medical and public education programs, and was involved in professional development in higher education at the University of Delhi. He wa also president of Vanaprastha Sansthan, a division of Chinmaya Mission, New Delhi, and engaged in public welfare and education program for the elderly. Dr. Chopra was actively involved in the care and well-being of others throughout his life. The Mystery and Magic of Love was his second book, and is a magnificent legacy of divine love
