About the Author

John Albert is a native of Nashville, TN. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Auburn University and a M.A. in Education from Belmont University. Currently, he resides in Brentwood, TN with his wife Andi and their beautiful baby girl Aranelle. A lifelong fan of Star Wars, Stephen King, and Marvel Comics, John counts the X-Men's "X-Tinction Agenda" and "Days of Future Past" story arcs as two of the biggest influences in his writing. Begun as a short story for 11th grade English, John has been developing and writing the Mutant Underground series in general and the Future Uncertain arc in particular for more than a decade. Ultimately, he would like to see his comics-inspired stories make the transition from print to the comic medium.
