The Museum Guide: a novella:
Imagine a Museum of Natural History - any one museum holds a thousand stories of the past; but what about the current stories? The ones happening at 10:15 a.m. on a blustery Wednesday morning. What contemporary tales are unfolding in the historic confines of a museum as the school field trippers arrive and begin their stuttered tour?
Join docent Martha Stein as she navigates through the exhibits, giving us a glimpse into the lives of weekday visitors in abbreviated snapshots as she tries to keep her tour group, and her own life, on task.

About the Author

Legend has it that Nicole Sharp was born to hippies during an ice storm in Stone Mountain, Georgia. While confirmation of said events cannot be agreed upon, one fact is for certain, it was a Tuesday. By age twelve, Nicole was sure of two things. 1) She wanted to be a writer and 2) She wanted to travel. She begged her parents to allow her to voyage alone to exotic lands. She was allowed to go from California to Boise Idaho to visit a great-grandmother.
In the course of her writing career, Nicole has been published in a smattering of literary magazines but these days, she swigs coffee the way a dehydrated sailor with scurvy would whiskey as she writes about Italy, love, coffee and the quirky adventures of fearless women. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with no houseplants and three pink stovetop espresso makers.
