About the Author

Mickey Spillane is one of the world’s bestselling novelists, with sales of over 200 million copies worldwide of his more than 30 books, including the series featuring hard-boiled private eye Mike Hammer. In 1995 he was named a Grandmaster by the Mystery Writers of America. He passed away in 2006.

Max Allan Collins is the author of the New York Times bestselling graphic novel Road to Perdition, made into the Academy Award–winning film starring Tom Hanks and Paul Newman. His other credits include such comics as Batman, Dick Tracy, and his own Ms. Tree; film scripts for HBO and Lifetime TV; and the Shamus Award–winning Nathan Heller detective novels.
