About the Author

Frank Block is a hockey enthusiast, banker, and radio broadcaster active in the Canadian sports community, including announcing games at the Scotiabank Saddledome and hosting the Olympic torch ceremony in his home town for the Vancouver games. After moving to Saskatchewan in 2009, he met Metro Prystai and other hockey greats living in the area and set about to tell their story.

He produces a podcast based on his research and love of hockey called The Heart of the Rink Hockey Show, available at www.TheHeartOfTheRink.com or through iTunes. He lives with his wife in Melville, Saskatchewan.
