About the Author

Konnie Meyer and Karen Weick are sisters, who for many years enjoyed exchanging book ideas over coffee. Both are former educators, currently calling the small, rural community of Hamler, Ohio home. Each is the parent of three grown children and a proud grandparent. With a mother who was a librarian, and a father who dabbled in poetry, they grew up with a love for reading and writing. Through their storytelling, they hope to inspire young readers to develop the same passion for books.
