The Many Lives of Zane Montgomery
For most of us, we only get one shot at life. For Zane Montgomery, things are a little bit different. He seems to have a never-ending supply of chances when it comes to life. He’s fought dinosaurs, been crucified next to Jesus, even spent some time as a daredevil in the 1970’s. He’s not immortal though, at least not in the traditional sense. Zane can die just fine. He just has this pesky habit of coming back to life in a brand new body and a brand new life. Unlike other whiny immortals, Zane is fully aware of the reason he can’t stay dead like he’d prefer. With each new life comes a new object of Zane’s affections. All he really wants is for her to love him and feel her lips pressed against his. That task has eluded him at every turn; death unfurling its bony fingers and grasping Zane by the ankle at the most inopportune moment. When Zane finally meets her in modern day Denver, he truly feels like it will be the life where everything finally works out. But the obstacles facing Zane this time around will create more of an issue than he might think, and there just might be powers beyond him at work.
