Overview

She was told an old woman had relinquished her to a New York City orphanage when she was only a baby. The woman had kissed her tenderly, then left. The staff had wanted information about the baby's parents, but the woman had vanished into the streets. Jessica is now an adult, living on her own in the city, the foster care system in the past. She has her new business, her pets and her original music keeping her occupied. When a life adventure begins to take off and a possible love interest starts to develop, Jessica welcomes the changes. Unfortunately, a careless mistake puts her and all her animals at risk. Leaving the city and the traumatic memories behind her, she moves on, trying to forget. The sinister stalker has not forgotten though and is determined to destroy Jessica's future.

About the Author

Christina Cantalini is a professional singer/songwriter, musician, fiction writer and artist. From a young age, writing short stories and songs to share with others was a natural path for her. As a young adult, she traveled in a popular dance band for several years, performing extensively throughout the country and Europe.

Eventually returning to Massachusetts, she formed her own band and continued to sing, focusing on her original music and recording, as well as continuing to create stories. Some of the song titles that are referenced in her book, The Manitou Forest, can be found on Reverbnation at: Christina and The Flying Cantalini’s. Christina lives with her husband and daughter on their small, peaceful farm in Massachusetts.
