Featuring members of San Francisco luminaries A Minor Forest and Tarentel, Lumen borrow from 70's progressive rock and experimental guitarists John Fahey and Steve Reich to create a uniquely modern twist on instrumental rock. With eight appropriately untitled tracks flowing into one another, the marriage of acoustic guitar, upright bass, accordion, and drums weave complex polyrhythms and instrumental virtuosity into the fabric of warm, new age textures.
