A Rare Gem
I went into this novel with little expectations but I was intrigued by the description and decided to give it a try. So glad I did. This is a totally original plot and premise. As much a mystery as a fantasy story which gives it an edge and keeps you turning the page. This is the first instalment and I cannot wait for the next in the series. Give it a go. You will not be disappointed.

The story keeps drawing you deeper into the book. I had trouble putting it down st the moment and just went through chapter after chapter because it got me excited and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I liked the way the author puts in a mystery plot from the start and adding stories from the past to really create an intriguing book. I really wonder what's going to happen in the next book(s), it's a story that can grow into an epic. A good read well worth it.
