I just finished reading The Magic Marble Tree, by Deborah J. Levine. Let me first say without hesitancy that Deborah (and her husband Earl) are good friends with my wife Ruth and me. Many of the stories included in the book I had some knowledge of. That being said, I was simply transported back – time-travelling, so to speak - to places I thought I knew but clearly did not.
