The Lost Honor: A Nihryst Short Story
Orphan. Soldier. Feared pirate?

When tragedy strikes and Reynold finds himself alone at a young age, he doesn't give up. He works his way toward the great kingdom of Detmarya and joins the military in hopes of one day finding his stolen sisters and exacting revenge on those who took everything from him.

Reynold wasn't born a fighter. He comes from an ancient people known for their peaceful ways. For his younger sisters though, he'd destroy his own soul. After all, he has nothing else.

Until he meets the beautiful Lira, who makes him feel alive for the first time in a decade. She gives him hope and a reason to smile—something he hasn't done in a really long time.

Can he hold on to this possible future? Or will it slip through his fingers like all he has ever known?
