I have employed the Latin America volume from the Stryker-Post World Today Series for 26 years in 5 different college settings. Most of these affordable and objective volumes, updated annually, were written by Professor Robert Buckman. I used them as the primary textbook with my students at the Air Command & Staff College, Troy State University, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, the Army War College, and Norwich University. I have used The World Today Series Latin America version as a primary text in my Latin American seminar at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for my ten years there as an instructor. It provides a good overview of each country in the region, to include history and current issues.
