About the Author

Jonathan Spelman is a community activist who implemented programs with the Tidewater AIDS Crisis Task Force (TACT) to distribute information and safe prophylactics to help keep the neighborhood safe. He has worked with various non-profit organizations and churches in different states to assist in homework assistance programs and free field trips sponsored by local businesses and donors. Additionally, he has operated drug rehabilitation programs at adult rehab centers and shelters and has been involved in Feed the Hungry programs for homeless people and those with mental illness.
Jonathan has an impressive educational background; he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Building Technology from Norfolk State University in 1988 and later earned a graphic design degree from Westwood College in 2010. He also took courses at Georgia State University for design.
