I thoroughly enjoyed this contemporary thriller set in the Scottish Highlands. The writing is tight yet descriptive and it places you firmly in the location. The main characters are likable and believable and you grew to care for them. The villains are deliciously villainous! This was a fast read but immersed me completely in the story. This debut novel by Catherine Yaffe feels anything but and I can't wait to read more by this talented author!
