About the Author

Lon Garber has been an associate Pastor of Northland, A Church Distributed near Orlando, Florida since 1990. Since 2002, Lon and his wife, Val, have been serving as missionaries in Namibia. He is the executive director of Leadership Outreach Namibia, an organization committed to providing hope and dignity to disadvantaged Namibians. He also co-pastors Victory Christian Church in Okahandja, Namibia. Lon and Val have two married daughters and three grandchildren living in Colorado. When in the States, Lon and Val divide their time between Colorado and Florida.
