About the Author

Trey Watson is a father, author, and business owner. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Horticulture & a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. He's the owner of Legg Creek Farm, LLC, a business emphasizing quality southern fruit and nut trees. Trey is also the author of a number of books on gardening in the South, including Southern Bounty: How to Grow and Enjoy Southeastern Native Fruits and Nuts. He is also the author of The Adventures of Mac The Fire Truck series. Seven books in the series have been published, along with a compilation edition. Books in the Adventures of Mac The Fire Truck Series are geared toward children ages 2-6. They feature fun rhyming text, hilarious stories, and fun pictures. They are available in both print and ebook versions. When he's not growing fruit trees, playing with his kids, or working on his business, he enjoys writing, planning his vineyard, and reading good books. He is passionate about helping others become more self-reliant by growing their own fruits & nuts.
