Overview

Enter into a world where magic exists and the magical creatures are exiled from humans. Though many magical species once apart of the human species, they have evolved to forms matching their use of magic. Zedkiel, or Zed as he is called, is under investigation from the High Council. Reports have come that he's been researching magic and its source, the Borealis Tree. The High Council of Everstrong and taken magic from all humans within the city. Only they are authorized the wield its power. Nevertheless, Zed wants his magic back. The consequences of his illegal endeavor, exile into the dangerous magical forest. Now he's left with not choice to venture out into the wilderness in search of the source of all magic. Only then can he reclaim what rightfully belongs to him, his magic.

Complete with illustrations by Shade Jalo, journey along with Zed as seeks to reclaim his magical abilities.

About the Author

A dreamer at heart, Shade enjoys turning his nighttime adventures into stories that he can share with the entire world. Such is the case with The Last Wish and his previous work Book of Masks.
He also pulls on his life inspiration, mostly with his role in the YMCA as Youth and Family Coordinator. The many who have come into his life through his work at the YMCA he considers to be a part of his “second family”.
Shade is also the founder and owner of Always a Spark LLC, a small scale publisher through which he is able to release these newer titles.
There’s more magic to come in the future, as Shade prepares his chapter book series, The Celestial Saga, for publication.
