Victoria Alexander has written two lighthearted Regency romances, and narrator Marian Hussey narrates them with perfection. She remains perfectly engaged with both stories and their characters as they encounter the difficulties and joys of falling in love. Both stories contain interesting plot twists and humor, as well as a dose of the typical romance genre formula—will the lead characters ever get together despite all their misunderstandings?
