Overview

In the "Roaring Twentys", in western Kansas, people were prospering. Some were making money by only buying and selling. Everything seemed to be going "up":. But when the deppression came followed by years of drought. The hardy ones stayed and made a "go of it". This book spans the Great Depression, World War II and subsequent years. It's history mixed with personal testimonies, difficulties and adventure all mixed together, and the story of a little boy growing up in that time. . .
