About the Author

Sujata Massey is author of the Rei Shimura mystery series, ten novels featuring a young Japanese-American woman sleuth in modern Tokyo. The books have won the Agatha and Macavity awards and been nominated for the Edgar, Anthony and Mary Higgins Clarks awards. Sujata is a former newspaper journalist and English teacher in Japan who currently lives with her family in Minneapolis.
