About the Author

From the time she could talk, Yvette Ford wanted to be two things: a mother and a nurse. She successfully accomplished both and found there were challenges being a single parent while working long hours as a nurse. Yvette developed a career plan that not only connected her with her passion but offered her the opportunity to spend more time at home with her son. Yvette has over twenty years in the nursing industry. She has experience in bedside care, nurse management, and compliance oversight. Through her career she always offered advice to her nursing team and colleagues. In response to a high number of nurses feeling burned out and leaving the industry, Yvette created online courses and coaching sessions that encourage nurses to map out their career planning, using her expertise and experience as a guide.
