About the Author

Leon Schlossberg has taught art as applied to medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has designed numerous biological teaching aids, including two widely used model skeletons, also available from the Johns Hopkins University Press.

George D. Zuidema, M.D., formerly Warfield M. Firor Professor of Surgery and Director of the Department of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, is Vice Provost for Medical Affairs and Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan.
