About the Author

Amber Russell bases all of her stories off of her furry companions' real life adventures on the island of Oahu. The gorgeous islands of Hawaii paired with Kona and Waffles' bright personalities and constant antics provide her with a lot of inspiration.

Amber's own island adventures include achieving her bachelor's of science degree in Family Resources from the University of Hawaii and her Master's Degree in Traditional Taoist Medicine with an emphasis on Pediatrics from a private school way ip in the magical mountains of the east side. She has spend many years working with children of all ages and is now the very proud parent of two beautiful children with more on the way.
