The Interview with Jesus

In this novel, women are the tough, compassionate, charge-takers with common sense. Thanks to them, Hans Seeker, a young conflicted physicist, is eventually rescued from his brainwashed past and a life of unwanted celibacy.
Finding out at age 27 that he has been brainwashed by a religious cult, Hans rejects all religion and becomes an agnostic. Lacking the skills to deal romantically with women, he creates a robotic duplicate. She becomes alive, and soon they are sleeping together. Having a Near-Death-Experience, Hans meets the Mother-God of the universe. Being compassionate, she sends him a real woman to teach him the art of romance. In addition, the Mother-God's daughter, Nicolette, becomes his private goddess and teacher. After Hans finishes his basic training of safely functioning out of body, Nicolette takes him for a visit to Heaven where he gets an interview with a nontraditional, liberal Jesus who claims that none of his followers ever understood his real mission on Earth which was to introduce LOVE as the highest rule in the universe and the only path to Heaven.
