Overview

In this slightly darker installment of The Interstellar Police Force, Prodor Moffit has dubbed himself the Surgeon. He continues with his obsession by leaving more mutilated bodies in town while also sending letters to the press and Channel Five's Action News lead crime reporter, Jacqueline Burton. Burton just happens to be working on a five-part exposè on the Surgeon, an exposè that Moffit would rather not air. The production of his illicit drug, Dragon's Breath, has become very profitable for him, and Moffit's influence in Old Town and Westberry has become so great that he has hired more employees to help him with his drug distribution and production at the warehouse, as well as helping him find new victims.

Lieutenant Dawson DeLaRue of the Westberry Police Homicide Department has no leads on this serial killer who enjoys leaving his victims in public places, so he decides to confront Deputy U.S. Marshall Jeff Trent about the now self-proclaimed Surgeon. Confiding in DeLaRue helps Jeff and Genghis with their own investigation in finding Moffit as they start working closely with Lieutenant DeLaRue.

While Jennifer helps Mrs. Remke with a business venture, they have an encounter with Vincent Calderone. A year-and-a-half earlier he just showed up one day out of the blue in Old Town. Vincent thinks of himself as a thirties Hollywood movie gangster; described by shop owners as being a little weird, he's now trying to extort money from them. But, when no one in town takes his extortion tactics seriously, he turns to violence. With firebombing and physical assaults, he quickly becomes a person of interest to Jeff and Genghis, who feel that this Jimmy Cagney wannabe may very well be one of the escaped prisoners in human form. They decide to help out the town in tracking Vincent down.

Escapee Chrispin Pac enjoys living on Earth and decides that the IPF agent is threatening his very existence. With the help of his overbearing friend Malcolm, he starts following the IPF agent in hopes of finding his weakness. And they discover that his weakness is Jennifer. So, they hatch a plan to kidnap her and hold her for ransom so when the IPF agent comes looking for her they will be lying in wait to element him.

While using all the resources they have at their disposal in searching for Prodor Moffit's whereabouts, Jeff and Genghis end up in a predicament way over their heads that could very well get them both killed.

About the Author

I am a first-time author and live in Wesley Chapel, Florida which is about thirty minutes north of Tampa.

Writing is something I never really thought about until 2006. I am a big fan of the original "Twilight Zone" TV series, and I was attempting to update one of the episodes in the hope of writing a modernized screenplay and making it into an Indie film. What I wound up with was a short novel. At that time, I had no idea about copyright laws, so I put it aside. Three months later the original idea for, "The Interstellar Police Force, Book One: The Historic Mission" came to me which I published in 2021 and has now been followed with "The Interstellar Police Force, Book Two: The Beauty of Violence" published in 2023.

I am now in the process of working on the last and final book in the IPF trilogy.
