Jarkko Toikkanen teaches literature as a university lecturer in English Language, Literature and Translation at the University of Tampere, Finland. Previous appointments include Visiting Research Fellowship at the University of Westminster, London, UK. He has published the co-edited collection of articles The Grotesque and the Unnatural (2011).
