About the Author

Diane Helentjaris writes about unsung lives. A native Ohioan, she earned her BA cum laude in Interdisciplinary Humanities at Michigan State University, then went on to a career as a clinical and public health physician. She now writes from her home in the Piedmont of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and was a finalist in the 2020 Icelandic Writers Retreat Alumni Award.
