About the Author

Tammy Hammond lives in Great Bend, Kansas, and is the founder and owner of Rosewood Services, Inc., a business devoted to serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Rosewood creates employment opportunities for them through its horse ranch, winery, greenhouse, art studio, and kitchen.

Tammy was inspired to create Santas Around the World, part of Rosewood’s Roots and Wings Foundation, because of local artist Loretta Miller’s beautiful collection of life-sized Santa sculptures. When the collection was neglected and spread across the Great Bend community, Tammy decided to give them a permanent home in a new building that is a year-round Christmas museum.

Tammy is the author of four books that discuss Christmas traditions, recipes, cocktails, The history of Santa Claus, and Santas Around the World. All are available at the Christmas museum at 1223 Main Street in Great Bend.
